Performance issue while creating Desktop Requisition in Maximo 7.6

Problem:
Performance issue specifically while calculating the Line Cost.


Symptom:
In the Create Requisition application, after entering both Quantity and Unit Cost fields it can take a few seconds to the system to calculate the Line Cost.


Resolving the problem:

Procedure:

1. Go to the System Properties application.

2. Bring up the property mxe.webclient.ClientEventQueue.threshold and set its Global Value = 1.

3. Save.

4. Select the property and click on Live Refresh.

5. Sign out of Maximo and sign in again.

Note: That system property description says "The maximum number of events that can be in the client event queue before being sent to the server.".
