Option #2 Technical Stream

Technical stream consists of two half-day workshops.

Morning Workshop Session

Automation Scripting in Maximo 7.5

In this session you will learn how automation scripts can be leveraged to expand Maximo functionality without Java class extensions. The instructor will explain what Automation Scripts are and how to work with them. Finally a live demonstration will show an example of building an Automation Script.

Instructor-led:  Students can bring along laptops to follow along or observe the instructor.

Afternoon Workshop Session

Ensuring Data integrity while performing loads into Maximo

In this session you will learn some tips to maintain data integrity by loading data through the Integration Framework. The discussion will focus on large one time loads that can be managed through spreadsheets, and on smaller or recurring loads that can be executed through a particular application's UI. The instructor will lead attendees in building a load template, populating it with some data and loading it into Maximo.

Instructor-led:  Students can bring along laptops to follow along or observe the instructor.
