Moving to the Cloud (IBM SmartCloud that is)

April 15, 2013 Kim Waterman Beck

A number of IBM Maximo user organizations will have seen – or will see this year – that their previously owned Tivoli Service Request Manager (TSRM), Tivoli Change and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB), Tivoli Asset Management for IT (TAMIT), and Tivoli Service Manager Quick Install products have been combined into the new IBM SmartCloud Control Desk (SCCD).

For your annual support renewal, you will be required by IBM to provide written notification that you are aware of this change.  Your renewal quote will show that you now hold entitlements to the quantity of SCCD licenses that you held previously in the retired products.  So if you previously held 10 TSRM licenses and 10 TAMIT licenses, you will now hold 20 SCCD licenses.
