Interloc Solutions, along with Adapx, are partnering on a solution that will enable Maximo customers to instantly integrate data from paper forms into Maximo using digital pens. The announcement was made at the Fall Mountain West Maximo User Group meeting, where Capturx for Maximo was showcased.
"We are excited to see Adapx and Interloc Solutions partner on a solution that extends Maximo, allowing Maximo users to gain real-time visibility into paper-based operations within Maximo without data entry or the risk of missing paperwork," said Todd Loveday, Program Director, Mountain West Maximo User Group.
Adapx, the company that is changing the way field teams collect data and collaborate, and Interloc Solutions, a AAA technically accredited IBM Premier Business Partner and recognized Maximo implementation and integration consulting services company, provide direct integration between Maximo and Capturx to meet the real-time data access needs of Maximo users.
"The instant data access from Capturx extends the Maximo core-function, providing our customers with a new way to gain real-time visibility to field asset data within Maximo -- enabling significant time and money savings," explains Jason VenHuizen, Vice President, Products and Technology, Interloc Solutions.
With Capturx, data on forms is scanned as it's written with digital pens, sending the data from field teams using mobile phones or PCs directly to Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). Once the form data and designs are sent to Maximo, the data is instantly accessible in the original handwriting as converted data using advanced character recognition, as well as structured data tables. Maximo helps manage the life cycle of critical assets; Capturx for Maximo streamlines the asset management process. Teams avoid unnecessary extra paper handling delays and costs. No more shuttling paper, scanning, manual data entry, or risk from missing paperwork.
