September 2, 2014 Stacey Miller

Interloc Mobile Solutions for MaximoThis summer, a major Canadian integrated oil company, based in Calgary, AB, went live with their mobile solution to extend IBM Maximo. Interloc's Mobile Informer solution was chosen due to it's universal acceptance by end users.

The company's goal: a warehouse inventory management (WIM) application that would be welcomed by their warehouse users. The mobile application with a barcode scanner had to be feature rich for the business, yet simple enough to be universally accepted by the end users. The application had to perform such tasks as:

  • Purchase order receiving
  • Issues
  • Returns
  • Transfers
  • Inventory bin cycle count
  • Material staging & Pick up
  • Printing of warehouse labels

Initial acceptance has been extremely positive.
